Broman Group Celebrates 60 Years of Growth and International Expansion
Founded in 1965 by Väinö H. Broman in Joensuu, Finland, Broman Group has grown from a small local car dealership into one of the leading Nordic players in motoring and spare parts. Today, the group includes the Motonet retail chain and the AD VaraosaMaailma B2B network, with operations in Finland, Estonia, and Sweden.
In its 60th anniversary year, Broman Group became the full owner of AD Finland, strengthening its position in the automotive spare parts and repair market. With a strong focus on service, product availability, and integrated B2B/B2C logistics, the company continues to grow its international presence — especially in Sweden, where it plans to operate seven Motonet stores by the end of 2025.
Still family-owned and now involving the third generation, Broman Group is also known for its deep commitment to social responsibility. In May, it marked its anniversary with a donation of over one million euros to education, youth, sports, and national defense.
The group’s success is a testament to the power of long-term vision, innovation, and strong family values — laying the foundation for the next 60 years.
